Good Earth Garden Market
When I was a kid growing up in Southern California my mom always took me to a wonderful farmer’s market in Pasadena called Prebbles. Ever been there? Apparently it no longer exists. Too bad because it held some fantastic memories for me as a child, most notably the amazing aroma I experienced the minute I walked through the doors; fresh fruit, ground coffee, pastries, penny candy, and sawdust on the ground. I loved the way Prebbles smelled. I’m reminded of that every time I walk into Good Earth. It’s just yummy. In fact customers often say the same thing to me: ”I love the way this store smells!”
Well let’s put all those amazing aromas to work for us and start cooking, shall we? And if you have any favorite recipes you want to share with me by all means pass them along – or better yet, bring them to the store for us to taste. We’re always ready and willing to eat!
And watch your step the next time you come. I may have spread some sawdust on the floor….
